Charlee's First Dr. Visit

 

We spent most of the morning at the Dr. office.  Initially we were schedule for Miss Charlee Jean's first Dr visit.  However, Sutton Alice woke up a few days ago with a nasty cough and a "scary" voice as she called it, so Dr. Kozak checked her out too! 

 

Charlee Jean's first Dr. Appointment went great.  2 week birthday today- She weighed in at exactly 8 lbs, she is 20.75 inches long and 36 head circumference.  Her umbilical cord fell off yesterday, somewhere at the zoo... oppsy!  Sutton called her umbilical cord "yucky belly money", don't ask me how she comes up with some of the thing she says! 

 

Sutton Alice 3 years and 6 months- She weighed in at 36 lbs, she is 3ft 6in tall.  While we were at the doctor office.  I asked Sutton what her favorite things are... see below what she says!

 

Favorite color:  pink and purple

Favorite outfit:  Texans outfit  

Favorite hair style: hair bows, braids, and ponytails.

Favorite toy: baby dolls

Favorite TV show: Super why

Favorite friends: Austin and Carter (in her class)

Favorite lunch: peanut butter sandwich

Favorite treat: donut hole and gummys

Favorite book: I love you all day long

Favorite outing: grocery store

 

Zoo day!

Today was a fun filled day! Feeding the giraffe, watching the elephants play, petting the goats, playing at the splash pad and so much more!

Pool day with the girls!

Sutton enjoyed the pool... It was a little to cool for my skin. Charlee hung out in the shade. We are having so much fun together... But there is nothing better than a sandwich that smiles back at you!

Silly girls!!

After Sutton got herself dressed this morning to run some errands, she looked in the mirror and said. "Oh I look good!". I just love her! Her backpack is filled with who knows what!

Oh deer... Ouch!

While on our way to bear branch park we saw a couple of deer cross our path. Then, poor Sutton wrecked her bike, but it didn't hurt. She is tuff! Here she is showing off her wound!

Wow, what a week! I forgot how the days fly by in a crazy blur with a newborn. I can't believe Charlee is already 1 week new...she is such a sweet little baby! Seven and a half pounds today!

40 weeks...

Well here I am. 2 Days shy of 40 weeks... And baby girl seems to be cozy and comfy.  I saw these chips today and thought hum, "I think it is time to try some VOODOO!?!"
