Charlee Jean {Two Months}

Dear Charlee Jean,

I know I'll say this every month, but I simply cannot believe you're already 2 months old! Time is flying by so fast and I just can't wrap my mind around it. Where do the days go?! So what has this last month been like for you?

--At 2 month, you weighed 15 lbs. You have some serious cheekies and thigh chub and it's adorable. You rock it much better than I do.

--You are nursing about every 3 hours during the day. There are times you could go longer, but I try not to let you as I'd rather you save those long stretches for nighttime. :)

--You have found your voice and your coos are THE sweetest thing! You are quite the little cheeser too. Especially for your daddy....it's pretty sweet to watch you two together. He has also taught you to do "pretty eye's", which is a exaggerated blink that you give to us when we say "pretty eye's". We really get a kick out of watching you.

--Your daddy gave you your first bottle on Halloween, and I'm so glad you took to it with no problems. We recorded it. I like watching it at work. Speaking of work, I returned on Nov. 1st and you have done great the whole time, but I sure miss you. Daddy is watching you, and you guys are bonding so well. He sends me pictures of you and him during the day. I lite up every time I see one.

--The only new nicknames for this month are Char Char, Charlee Girl, Charlee Bear. I know their nothing special, but I definitely call you those nicknames a lot, and I don't know why. Your daddy calls you Chuck Wagon, Choo Choo, and Char Char, and Sutton still calls you Baby Charlee or Sissy. I think it is SO sweet when she calls you Sissy. She asks about you All. The. Time.

--You tolerate tummy time, but are not a huge fan. You have rolled over to your back a few times while doing tummy time.

--And here's our monthly comparison. I think you resemble your sister, but I definitely think you have your own look now too.

Happy 2 Months sweet girl! I love you in a way I never knew I could!!

Santa Claus is coming to town...

Christmas is around the corner and Sutton knows... Yesterday we saw this guy in the grocery store. Sutton ran up to him and said "SANTA! Hi Santa!", Brian and I were both speechless and modified! Then, we saw him again a few aisles over. Yelp, again Sutton greets him with "Hi Santa", "Bye Santa" this time I apologies. His wife was laughing and said he gets it all the time. LOL.

Tickled pink!

It was my first full week at work and I miss my girls, can't wait to spend the weekend with them. This is what our weekend mornings look like lately. Charlee loves her mat-time...in the mornings only any other time of the day she wants nothing to do with it. Sutton loves tummy time with "Sissy" in her pink pj's! They stare and coo at each other. It really is the sweetiest sight!
