Dinner fun at the Buchler's

Dinner is always fun at Roy and Autumn's. Madeline is a year older than Sutton -they truly enjoy each others company. Playing, pretending, and chasing each other around is high on the to do list. Dinner is ALWAYS a treat... You never know what animal is on the menu.

Saturday we showered Toni with gifts, getting baby Emma ready to enter the world.

We can't wait to meet Emma Claire she will be arriving in March.

Family Fun Day

Sutton's dream came true today, she got to meet ALL her favorite characters Brobee from Yo Gabba Gabba, Beauty and the Beast and Curious George! Sutton was totally star struck and sweet Charlee just took it all in. It could not have been a better day!

Here we are meeting Brobee, Sutton asked "Do you want to eat?" Brobee said, "There is a party in my tummy!" (He says that in the actual show)

Charlee Jean {Four Months}

Dear Charlee Jean,

Well, here I am again and whew this month flew by... on to the 4th month recap.

--You have not had your 4 month check-up, but when you do I'll fill your stats in. You weighed 00 lbs, 0 oz, which is the ?th percentile. You were ? inches long, which is the ?th percentile, and your head measured 00.0 inches, which is the ?th percentile.

--I still think you're in the early days of teething as you are ALWAYS drooling. No real signs of teeth yet though, so who knows.

--You have started putting everything in your mouth, especially your thumb and two middle fingers.

--For nicknames, your sister is still set on calling you Char Char. Sometimes she says Choo Choo but usually Charlee or Char Char. I call you Choo Choo, which sometimes turns into Chugga Chugga Choo Choo, which then turns into me singing it while pushing your legs up and down. Which then results in you laughing. We also call you Train and Sissy.

--You are really starting to be interested in your sister. She is absolutely obsessed with you, and is SO ready to for you to be able to play with her. Sometimes she's a little rough with you, but you are one tough cookie already! You just watch her in amazement. And maybe a little bit of fear.--You are generally a very happy, laid-back baby. You do have an amazing talent of sticking your tongue out.  You have learned that it makes us laugh, so you do it All. The. Time.  And we LOVE it.

--And yet again, this month's comparison picture Sometimes you guys look just alike to me, and other times you look so different. I definitely think you look a lot like your sister does right now though.

You are just beautiful Charlee Jean I never dreamed I'd have two dark-haired, blue-eyed little beauties as my daughters. You are such a blessing to our family and we love you to pieces!!

Chili cook-off.

Over the weekend we had a family chili cook-off. Alice hosted, she decorated every corner of her house in the cutest rodeo theme and of course we all dressed the part! 3 people entered a chili Alice, Jason, and myself.

Are you ready for this, drum roll please.... Believe it or not, I am the winner!!! Thanks to my Memaw's recipe. I always admired my grandma's kitchen skills. Not only did she have the most flavorful and memorable dishes, she could wash and dry dishes faster than anyone I know. Miss you Memaw!!

Playing with playdoh is one of Sutton's favorite activities. This is the latest creative creacher.

Rub a dub dub

The girls enjoy tub time. It has become my special time with the both. They both love to splash around like a fish and love for there hair to be washed. My favorite part is getting them out, wrapping them all snug in there towels holding them close, stealing lots of kisses.
